HOW DO I ATTEND THE FESTIVAL?
Register for passes in advance! Print out our WSIFF Pass Online Form and mail in request or see our TICKET SALES for online festival passes.
Walk up passes and tickets for films, parties, panels and workshops will be available at the WSIFF Will Call Booth, however availability is not guaranteed.

WHEN WILL I GET MY TICKETS?
You can pick up your tickets and passes at the WSIFF Will Call Booth located in the Festival Tent beginning March 16th.
The WSIFF Will Call Booth will be open March 16 through March 22, 2008. The Will-Call Booth's hours of operation: 9:00am – 9:00pm daily. The Festival Tent is located at the WSIFF main venue, Allen Theaters. 

WHY SHOULD I REGISTER? 
Those who attend the festival will have the opportunity to further their career and network with established film industry participants. There are many opportunities through film panels, receptions, screenings, workshops and gatherings that offer the opportunity for personal enrichment. This festival is for filmmakers, producers, actors, and those who enjoy film.

WHAT KIND OF FILMS WILL YOU SHOW? 
The WSIFF will show all genres of competitive narratives and documentaries that are feature and short length. In addition, two days of the festival will be devoted to Latino filmmakers and one day will be devoted to films made in New Mexico. Visit our schedule page for more details. 

WHY ALAMOGORDO, NEW MEXICO?
Alamogordo is the micro-politan center of the Tularosa Basin.  Alamogordo is surrounded and just a short drive to neighboring cities such as Las Cruces, Tularosa, Cloudcroft, Ruidoso, and Roswell. Alamogordo is also surrounded by amazing natural landscapes such as White Sands, Sierra Blanca Mountains, and the High Desert.  The areas mild climate and pristine views makes Alamogordo a great city to hold a film festival, and an amazing location to shoot a film!
New Mexico Film and Tax Incentives have increased the states film production by 40%Producers and filmmakers will have the opportunity to speak with New Mexico Film representatives at the festival regarding the many benefits of shooting their films in New Mexico. 

HOW DO I GET TO ALAMOGORDO, NEW MEXICO?
Out of State Visitors
The nearest airport is El Paso International Airport, about 80 miles from Alamogordo. Once you arrive in El Paso you can rent a car or take the Alamo/El Paso Shuttle.

Alamogordo is about 200 miles from Albuquerque for those of you coming from northern New Mexico or flying in from the Albuquerque International Airport.

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?
Alamogordo has many hotels if you choose to stay in the city and nearest to the film festival events and screenings. Information on partnering hotels is available on the Travel & Accommodations page.

HOW WILL I GET AROUND?
We strongly recommend that you rent a car. Once you arrive in Alamogordo, there is free parking at the Allen Theatre, our main venue.

WHAT IS WHITE SANDS? 
White Sands National Monument is 275 square miles of white sand dunes composed of gypsum crystals. This natural wonder has been the backdrop of many films and photographs over the years. White Sands symbolizes the basins rugged and natural beauty.
